Mount Bogong Highest of High Country: 7-day tour

This Mount Bogong tour takes you on a journey through diverse landscapes and travels along a breathtaking route that highlights the vertical scale of the Victorian High Country.

Our journey starts in the rich and fertile Kiewa Valley – the Aboriginal word for ‘sweet water’. Over the following days we ascend, exploring this beautiful climb and the frequently changing landscapes it offers. From pretty streams and lush forest, to foreboding frost hollows and stark rocky outcrops, this is an experience of the senses not to be missed.

Atop Mount Bogong, we’re greeted with panoramic views of the High Alps, as they stretch out before us in all directions and all manner a shade of blue. Marvel at the sheer height of Victoria’s highest mountain before traversing Hell’s Gap and handing the reins to your mountain-bred horse as they gently carry you over Lover’s Leap. This is where our horses truly shine – navigating the country they were born to explore.

Arrive on Saturday 8th February and finishes on Friday 14th February 2020.
